Battle of Minds Event

Students 31 March, 2015 12 PM to 2:30PM, E1 1LA3, 1LA4, Amity University
Amity ACM Student Chapter of Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University organized an Aptitude based event, “Battle Of Minds” which primarily focused on testing students on their basic concepts and logical skills.

The test comprised of three rounds namely,

  1. Logical Reasoning: This round consisted of twenty questions that were designed in order to evaluate the ability to analyze, critically evaluate, and complete arguments as they occur in ordinary language. Students were given fifteen minutes to complete the first round. Only the Students who qualified and cleared the cut-offs in this round were allowed to sit for the next round.
  2. Aptitude Test: This round consisted of twenty questions that were designed to evaluate how the students perform in different situations. Students were given twenty minutes to complete fifteen questions. All the qualifying students were then asked to sit for the next round.
  3. Technical Ability: This was the final round, designed for testing the students’ basic knowledge in subjects like C, C++ and Data Structures.

The turn-out was overwhelming. There were a total of around sixty students who sat for the first round. Forty two students qualified in the first round (Logical Reasoning). Twelve students qualified in the second round (Aptitude Test).

The winners were awarded with an e-Certificate of Merit and Free passes worth Rs. 2000/- from Glued. All the participants were given Certificate of Participation as well.
